This position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a technician at an independent automotive repair center, tire store or franchised dealership. You must have a clean driving record and lifestyle. You must be free of any type substance abuse problem. Carrsmith is a Drug Free Workplace. We do random drug testing, and drug test after accidents on the job. A positive result means instant termination! Note: Work hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and every 4th Saturday 9 am to 3-4 pm. We are looking for an automotive professional with recent experience in a professional shop, who is NOT willing to compromise his or her ethics. This position for one who is proud of what they do and who considers himself or herself a professional. CAUTION: This is not a trainee position. This is not a part-time position. This not a position for someone wanting to maintain a college schedule, or work another job, too. This position is not for a 'shade-tree mechanic,' or a 'weekend-do-it-yourselfer' looking for a career change. This position is not a technician 'burned-out on wrenching' looking to "give it one more try." SERVICE ASSISTANT. SERVICE/SALES ASSISTANT. This position is more than just a job. It's a key position in a dynamic and committed team. It combines attentive sales ability and good comprehension with writing skills! Automotive knowledge and/or experience in service oriented business is a plus, but not required. This is a full-time position which includes work at each of our two locations. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday 10am to 6 or 7 pm depending on daily work- load, and alternating Saturday's 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. As a
service assistant you will interview the customer regarding their
concerns with their vehicle. You will assist in ordering parts, compiling
repair estimates, interpreting
the technician's notes, and writing repair

the job: Those committed to a college schedule are discouraged from applying as our work load tends to be busiest at times when a college schedule is most demanding- such as just before college breaks, dead week, finals week, etc. Due to limited staffing we are unable to grant excessive time off.
